August is one of the finest times to visit Burrow Farm Gardens, near Dalwood between Axminster and Honiton in East Devon. The award-winning 13-acre gardens are open every day throughout August, from 1st August to 31st August, with opening hours of 10am to 5pm. The Tea Room serves refreshments and homemade cakes, with last orders at 4.30pm.

Late summer brings a wonderful display of colour and texture across the gardens. Visitors can also enjoy the rose gardens, woodland walks, ponds, unusual shrubs and the extensive plant collections that make Burrow Farm Gardens one of Devon’s most celebrated horticultural attractions. 

Current admission prices are £13 for adults, £2 for children aged 3–16, while children under three years old are admitted free. Visitors planning several trips during the season may prefer an adult season ticket costing £36.50, with child season tickets available for £5 Reduced admission is also offered for pre-booked groups of ten or more visitors.
