From 2nd April this year, gardeners across Exeter, Mid and East Devon opened their garden gates and welcomed visitors to enjoy their flora and fauna in support of Hospiscare.
Hospiscare are looking for gardens large and small, rural and urban, to join next year’s Open Gardens scheme. Gardeners from across these areas of Devon are welcome to join the garden team and welcome visitors to their gardens, with the support of the Hospiscare fundraising team. Over 40 gardens opened across the heart of Devon this year, from city gardens to sprawling country estates- something for everyone. The campaign this year has so far raised over £25,000 enough to provide 490 home visits from one of Hospiscare ‘s Clinical Nurse Specialists, free of charge, allowing patients to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
